About Privet
Complaints
We want to know if something has gone wrong. This page explains how to complain about Privet and where to go if your complaint is about a finance provider.
Complaints about Privet
Email enquiries@privet.com.au with:
- your name and how you would like us to contact you
- your enquiry reference, if you have one
- what happened, and what you would like us to do.
We will acknowledge your complaint, look into it fairly, and tell you the outcome and the reasons for it. If your complaint is about an error on the site, we will also record the outcome in our corrections log.
Privacy complaints
If your complaint is about how we handled your personal information, see our privacy policy. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Complaints about a lender, broker or other provider
Privet is not a lender or broker and does not make credit decisions. If your complaint is about a finance provider, contact that business first and ask for its internal complaints process. If it is a member of the Australian Financial Complaints Authority and you are not satisfied with its response, you may be able to take the complaint to AFCA. Our page on getting help lists free services.
